I hear you, and I understand the exhaustion you’re feeling makes you want to isolate yourself. I sense the frustration you experience towards people because their behavior seems stupid and unnecessary to you.
All these things can be overwhelming, so it’s natural to want to be alone, away from those who are depleting your last bit of energy
When you say you hate people and feel tired of their behavior, it shows that your emotional and social batteries are depleted. You need time to recharge, so you feel like isolating yourself.
Just as we need energy to run our bodies, we need social and emotional energy to interact with and deal with those around us. When that energy is low, we don’t feel like talking to others and go into energy-saving mode. When we’re down to our last bit of energy, we just want to escape and be somewhere we won’t be bothered.
That makes me wonder how Mars could become an ideal choice in the future.
Your feelings are valid. By listening to your body, you’ll understand that it needs some retreat—a time to be calm with yourself.
You can process the overwhelming emotions you’re facing, understand where they came from, and consider what you can do next to take good care of yourself.
Consider this as a conversation with yourself:
“I am sorry for not protecting my energy. I’ve allowed myself to be overwhelmed by others, and now I feel exhausted and disconnected. But now, I am truly sorry for neglecting my own needs. Dear self, can you forgive me for not setting boundaries earlier?”
Taking time for yourself is important. Try to find ways to restore your energy and reconnect with the world more healthily. Seek out positive interactions, set boundaries, and prioritize your mental health.
Remember, it’s okay to take a step back and recharge. You deserve peace and understanding—from both yourself and others. But first, from yourself!
